Just half a year after the launch of the new vipro-PUMP series, ViscoTec is back again with a product update: Alongside the existing range of hard-chrome-plated and ceramic rotors, the company is adding a new high-performance material to the vipro-PUMP portfolio. The carbide variant is a logical addition that complements the existing range and has properties that set it apart from similar models in the market, which are often only available with a ceramic coating: The new carbide variant increases the service life of the dosing components when abrasive media is used. This is of particular interest to sectors such as electronics manufacturing or e-mobility: Thanks to the extended service life of the dosing components alone, overall equipment effectiveness can be improved in the production of performance electronics or battery components.
In addition to the extended product life, electronics manufacturing and e-mobility companies can take advantage of the new carbide rotor to ensure even better dosing of media with high abrasiveness. The new carbide rotor also stands out on account of its reduced susceptibility to breakage. The partitioned rotor assembly for ease of maintenance has now become a standard feature. Visually, the rotor exhibits a rainbow-colored spectrum when it is exposed to light, due to the thickness of the coating. The rotor is available in all sizes of the vipro-PUMP, i.e. from 14 to 500. Customers can acquire the new model with immediate effect. Independent of the rotor used, the dispensers in the vipro-PUMP series guarantee uninterrupted dosing to meet high precision requirements with the application of the endless piston technology.
