Everything started over 25 years ago, when ViscoTec embedded the vision of becoming the world’s leading manufacturer of high precision dispensing pumps and systems for medium and high viscosity fluids and pastes. With the globally increasing demand for high quality products “made in Germany” and due to the rapid economic development in Greater China, ViscoTec took the opportunity and opened a subsidiary in Shanghai.
In 2013 ViscoTec China was founded and gained deeper insights to fully understand the needs of the Chinese market and to meet the requirements of its customers. Taking a moment to look back we see ten years of constant growth including three relocations within Pudong to cope with the increasing inquiries. The office space expands from below 50 sqm to nearly 1000 sqm and has several dispensers for live demonstrations. To guarantee a timely sales and service response, the office keeps a stock of over 600 different articles. During the pandemic a team of 24 experts worked closely together remote and ensured product delivery and service supply to the customers. ViscoTec China has improved its partner network over the years and counts now 200 companies. An even larger number of end customers receive their equipment from integrators who are relying on our expertise and products and are therefore buying ViscoTec products and selling them to their customers.
Let us celebrate the past decade of success and look forward to another 10 years of substantial growth because ViscoTec never sets an end point for itself. We are proud to have received several awards such as EM Innovation Awards (from 2019-2022), Vison Awards (from 2018-2020) and The Best Innovation (2018) by Shanghai Society of Aeronautics. Therefore, ViscoTec China wants to thank everyone who has walked side by side in the past ten years.
