The company from Töging celebrates its 25th anniversary and is awarded for the third time as one of the most dynamic medium-sized companies in Bavaria.
There could not have been a better present for ViscoTec on the occasion of its 25th anniversary. The company receives the award for Bavaria’s Best 50 for the third time. The prize is awarded to companies that have grown at an above-average rate in terms of turnover and number of employees in recent years. The prize, a porcelain lion, was presented by Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger to the two managing directors Franz Kamhuber and Martin Stadler.
This shows once again that ViscoTec has been “simply” doing what it does best for almost 10,000 days and what Managing Director Franz Kamhuber was allowed to learn by heart exactly like this on his first day at the company in 2015: “We move, dose, process viscous, structure-sensitive, solids-laden media volumetrically.”
Consistent focus as a recipe for success
“In principle, nothing has changed in this respect,” emphasises the industrial engineer, who has been the new commercial managing director and successor to Georg Senftl since last year. Nevertheless, he sees the need to formulate the task and thus the core mission of the company in a more contemporary way: “Everything we do today pursues one goal: we want to become even better at metering. As specialists, we leave our mark globally in demanding niche tasks exclusively in dosing technology.” This, he says, is what sets ViscoTec apart from many and is also evident when looking at the investments that have been made over the past 25 years, confirming the award of Bayerns Best 50 three times in 2014, 2018 and 2022.
